My walking pilgrimage on the Camino a Santiago

The Camino to Santiago de Compostella has been a pilgrimage route for more than 1000 years.  It is still walked today by thousands of pilgrims.  People walked from all over Europe.

Richard has hiked three segments of the camino, starting in France and ending in Santiago de Compostela. He is trying to complete the Camino by walking from Castrojerez, where he left off in 2019, to Leon, where he started in 2002. The distance is 134 km, (83 miles). Richard hopes to walk 10 km per day.
